Air valve is an important part of reciprocating piston compressor, and it is also one of the easily damaged parts. Its quality directly affects the discharge capacity, power consumption and operation reliability of the compressor. At the stage of the compressor developing towards high speed, one of the key problems restricting the increase of speed is the air valve.
Piston compressors generally use "automatic valves", that is, the opening and closing of the gas valves are realized by the pressure difference on both sides of the valve plate, and there is no other driving mechanism.
The air valve is mainly composed of valve seat, valve plate, spring, lift limiter and bolts and nuts that integrate them. The structure of the exhaust valve is basically the same as that of the intake valve, except that the positions of the valve seat and the lift limiter are interchanged. The lift limiter of the intake valve is close to the inner side of the cylinder, and the valve seat of the exhaust valve is close to the inner side of the cylinder. The annular valve is named after its thin disc. Both the valve seat and the lift limiter have annular or hole shaped channels for gas to pass through. The valve piece and the sealing port on the valve seat form a seal. There is a guide boss on the lift limiter to guide the lifting of the valve piece.
